PACAC Mission: PACAC is a professional organization dedicated to encouraging, advocating, and promoting equal access to post-secondary education; fostering communication among students, families, professionals, and institutions; and facilitating professional development.  Within the guidelines, professional policies and positions of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), PACAC promotes the worth and dignity of individuals through educational programs that contribute to the growth and well being of a changing society.

Take Action - Support the Dream Act

n: 0in 0in 0pt;">Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) have reintroduced The Dream Act of 2009 in a bipartisan effort to grant undocumented students a legal path to citizenship.  NACAC has supported The Dream Act for more than a decade.  While undocumented minor students are eligible for free public K-12 education, they are in most states, ineligible in-state higher education tuition, effectively ending their educational dreams.  To learn more about The Dream Act and how it could impact your students, visit NACAC’S Dream Act page.  Please take a moment to contact your Senators and Representatives to urge their support of this important legislation
